Kate Couch

Kate Couch received her BFA from the University of Georgia and has been making art longer than she can remember. Drawing inspiration from her two homes, California and Georgia, Kate's steady hand and attention to detail is recognizably her comfort zone. The joy of animals, the energy of water, and the beauty of the sky move and intermingle throughout Kate;s work. The push-pull of positive and negative space encourages her viewers to look longer, look closer, and ultimately, be surprised.
