Esther received an MFA in Ceramics at the University of Georgia in 2019. Her work consists of utilitarian ceramics, which she sees as complete only when it is in use. The majority of her work is fired in atmospheric wood kilns, utilizing time and ash to activate and build up the glazed surfaces.
