The gallery is open to the public every Saturday from 10a - 4p. We are proud to represent many styles of pots, all handmade by the artists in our studio, or friends in town!

Appointments are also available. Please email or call to schedule a time to visit.

We offer everything from highly designed painted and carved patterned work to simple wood and soda fired pots. We’ve got something for everyone! We love sharing our knowledge and stories of who and how the pots were made. Just ask!

Birthday Party Sale

1st Weekend of May
Friday evening 5-9p & Saturday 9a-4p
Celebration and big pottery sale with a fun Friday night event of food & spirits, music and new pottery for sale! All the resident potters focus on making pots for plants, so this is a great opportunity to buy planters and plants as gifts for mother’s day & graduation. If the weather is good we will have outdoor displays and food.

1st & 2nd Weekend of December : Marmalade & Southern Star’s Holiday Sale
Saturday & Sunday 9a-4p
Owner Maria Dondero has been having her marmalade pottery sales since 2009! Come out the 1st weekend of December to be part of an Athens tradition. There is delicious food made by Tim Dondero and paired with pottery, sweet treats, coffee & live music.

The following weekend, the whole studio cleans up and turns into a gallery with all the beautiful and varied work of the resident potters and friends. There are high fire, low fire, electric fired, soda fired and wood fired pots!
